Player Code of Conduct

As a VUFC player, you commit to:

- Make soccer your priority sport during VUFC seasons

- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality at all team events

- Show respect to coaches, teammates, and officials at all times

- Give maximum effort in training and matches

- Accept coaching decisions regarding positions and playing time

- Maintain a positive attitude and never quit

- Represent VUFC properly both on and off the field

- Follow all club, league, and tournament rules

- Avoid any behavior detrimental to the team or club

Parent Code of Conduct

As a VUFC parent, you agree to:

- Accept team placement decisions and coaching decisions regarding playing time and positions

- Stay informed about club and team activities through regular communication channels

- Ensure timely payment of fees and required forms

- Support player attendance at all team events and provide timely communication about absences

- Volunteer services and talents for team/club events

- Never engage in unsportsmanlike conduct with officials, coaches, players, or other parents

- Avoid coaching from the sidelines - support through positive encouragement only

- Follow the proper channels for raising concerns (24-hour cooling period after games, direct communication with coach first)

- Maintain a positive environment that supports all players
