2026/27 Tryouts Start March 14! ⚽ Virginia United FC spring travel tryouts kick off this weekend for select age groups! This is your opportunity for players to showcase their skills and compete for a roster spot for the upcoming season. Our tryouts feature a structured evaluation process that includes technical work, positional play, and small-sided matches led by Virginia United coaching staff and evaluators. Players interested in competing at the ECNL-RL, Pre-ECNL, Premier, or Select levels are encouraged to register and attend. Understanding the Transition: The Move to School-Year Age Groups

Change is coming to youth soccer, and Virginia United is here to help you navigate it. Starting in the 2026-27 season, youth soccer is transitioning from "Birth Year" (Jan–Dec) to a "Seasonal Year" (Aug–July) model. Why the change? This move, supported by US Youth Soccer and AYSO, aligns players with their school-grade peers. This promotes better social development and simplifies the transition between club and high school seasons. What does this mean for your player? The 2025-26 Season: Will remain on the current birth-year model. August 2026: All competitive programs will shift to the school-year model.  We are committed to a transparent and smooth transition. Stay tuned for more resources and town hall dates as we prepare for this exciting new chapter!
